Take Action Against Hate Annual Banquet
October 13, 2009
Doors open at 6:00 pm
Dinner starts at 6:30 pm
Program begins at 7:00 pm

Gonzaga University, Cataldo Hall, Globe Room

The dinner was a wonderful success with over 250 people attending and celebrating the life of Eva Lassman. We are grateful to all of the people attended and for your support of Eva Lassman and the Institute.

The Gonzaga Institute for Action Against Hate is proud and honored to introduce the “Eva Lassman – Take Action Against Hate Award” during this annual dinner. Our first award recipient will be Eva Lassman for whom the award is named. This award will be given out annually to honor an individual who has committed their life to challenge the issues of hate in our community, country and world.

Come join us for this first “Take Action Against Hate” Annual Banquet, and celebrate Eva Lassman’s life as she receives this recognition award. Eva is a Holocaust survivor who resettled in Spokane after World War II and has committed her life to fighting for justice for all. Please join us for this dinner and program that is about celebrating life, surviving genocide and violence, and challenging hate. Ken Toole will be our main speaker for the evening. You can read more about him at the Montana Quarterly.

The cost of the dinner is $50.00 per person, $400 for a table of 8 people, or $500 for a corporate sponsorship, with the proceeds benefitting the work of the Gonzaga Institute for Action Against Hate. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, sponsoring a table, or becoming a corporate sponsor you can e-mail the Institute at againsthate@gonzaga.edu or call 509-313-3665. WE ARE SOLD OUT.

You can read more about Eva at The Fig Tree.
