PROJECTS

Social Networking Site

The Institute for Hate Studies is interested in connecting with people and engaging in conversations on the topic of hate through online social networking sites. To accomplish this goal, we have two ways you can connect with us.

1. Challenging Hate. This site is an opportunity for people interested in deepening their understanding of hate to come together to learn and study about this topic through forums, news, research, resource links, and other strategies that develop as this site grows.

2. Facebook. If you "like" our page, you will keep up with the Institute's events and actions through status updates and discussion forums.

We encourage everyone whether they are researchers, law enforcement personnel, activists, educators, and those who are just interested in the topic of hate to join us.

JOURNAL

The Gonzaga Institute for Hate Studies advances the interdisciplinary field of Hate Studies and disseminates new theories, models, and discoveries about hate.

Hate Studies consists of inquiries into the human capacity to define, and then dehumanize or demonize, an “other,” and the processes that inform and give expression to, or can curtail, control, or combat, that capacity.
