Dr. Whitfield established Integral Leadership 2000 in Frankfurt. Germany in 1987. The purpose was to promote harmony in the workplace and protect employers and employees both from unnecessary misunderstandings and possibly lawsuits. Integral Leadership 2000 has successfully achieved this with organizations throughout the United States and nine of the sixteen NATO partners throughout Europe.
Dr. David Whitfield has over 15 years of experience consulting and teaching graduate students, both in the United States and Europe. He has provided consulting to elements of the Defense Department, and to international companies on training and development: Statistical Process Control (SPC), Managing Diversity, Total Quality Management (TQM), Employee Motivation, Employee Coaching and Counseling and other topics. He joined the faculty of the University of Oklahoma in 1993, and taught in the Human Relations, and the Adult and Higher Education departments for the Advanced Programs, Europe. For nine years, he taught Human Services/Human Resource Education throughout Germany, Italy, parts of England, Belgium, Greece and the Netherlands. for Boston University's overseas graduate programs. Dr. Whitfield's work experience is also extensive in personnel management, computer operations management, and researching organizational issues.
He has presented papers, and reported research to international conferences in Mexico, Portugal, Finland. and England on various topics concerning human resources. training, and counseling. He has published articles on computer literacy, the plateaued manager, and multicultural counselor education.
Dr. Whitfield is a member of the International Society for Intercultural Education, Training, and Research (SIETAR), the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. the International Round Table for the Advancement of Counseling (IRTAC), the American Counseling Association (ACA), and the National Writers Association.
