Written assignment

(a) Bring to class a sentence or two that identifies an importnat point from Becker and aother two or three sentences that describe the difference between Biographical and Phenomenology approaches.
(b) Each team will prepare a log, based on a transcript of the rapid appraisal interviews, their observations, and any other material they have collected.  Identify codes in the margin.  Identify themes.  Bring enought copies for everyone in the class.

NUD*IST software is installed in the Foley Computer Lab at station 6 (as designated by the numbers taped to the cubicle behind the monitor). The menu uses QSR-4 instead of NUD*IST.  Documentation is available from the Reserve Desk under the name of the course.
