Involved with the compilation of a Glossary for Public Administration in collaboration with the former Department of Public Administration.

Member of a research and working group which investigated the possibilities for decentralization of Black education in South Africa.

Research on organizing for public administration and management; methodology for public policy analysis; system for budgeting by objectives in the South African Public Service; and international administration.

Involved with the Presidential Review Commission regarding the transformation/ rationalization of the organization and functions of central and provincial government departments in South Africa.

Survey on the status of public management and administration education and training in South African universities and techiokons, by request of USAID/South Africa.
