WHARTON-L Discussion List and Archives
Note: The wharton-l list has been temporarily taken
off-line due to technical difficulties. Until it
is working again, please use this page instead: http://whartonnews.blogspot.com.
If you want to post directly to the new page, e-mail
me at campbedm at msn.com and I'll add you as a contributing
member of the weblog. Queries, Calls for Papers, and
so on can be posted on the usual pages if you e-mail
them to me.
WHARTON-L, the online discussion list of the Edith
Wharton Society, encourages the exchange of information
about scholarship and resources on Wharton, announcements
of interest to members, and above all discussion about
Wharton and her works. You do not need to be a
member of the Wharton Society to subscribe to WHARTON-L.
WHARTON-L is an unmoderated list, which means that
any subscriber may post messages without first sending
them to the listowner. To post comments, queries,
information, and replies to the list, send messages to wharton-l@gonzaga.edu. To
prevent spam and viruses from being sent to the list,
e-mail sent to the list by nonsubscribers is deleted
automatically without being read or opened.
Note: WHARTON-L members typically do not respond
to homework requests ("Please send me all your information
about . . . ") or requests to send essays, articles,
and so forth to individual students. If you have
a request or question relating to a student paper, the
best place to post it is on the Student
Queries Page. In addition to being posted at the
site, Student Queries will be collected and posted to
Wharton-L once a month.
To subscribe, send a message to majordomo@gonzaga.edu.
Leave the subject line blank, and write subscribe
wharton-l in the body of the message. Note that the
final letter of "wharton-l" is a lower-case L, not a
1. To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@gonzaga.edu ,
leave the subject line blank, and write unsubscribe
wharton-l in the body of the message.
Current
archives and archives of postings from January-September
13, 1999 are available.
If you do not wish to become a listmember but would
like to post an announcement relevant to the study of
Edith Wharton, please go to the Comments
and Questions page to post your message.
