Hello. I'm a Professor of Communication at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. I'm including links to my background and family as well as communication resources that will be helpful to others. Additionally, I have a link to more information about Acoustic Neuroma, a rare type of cranial tumor I was recently diagnosed with and had surgically removed.

I guess that the best - and fastest - way to really get to know me
is by discovering what I like. So here goes . . .
I love to teach. My areas of interest are interpersonal and intercultural
communication, nonverbal communication, media and social values, and rhetorical
and communication theory. I also love to travel, ski,
and make (and drink!) beer.
I love books & movies - especially mysteries. My
favorites? Also I am a Rock & Roll fan.
