PROBABILISTIC METHODS FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS

Class Time: MWF, 11:00-11:50

Exams: There will be three in-class exams and a final exam. The exams will be closed book and the student will be allowed one sheet of paper for notes. You may NOT use your textbook.

Grading: The average in the class will ROUGHLY delineate the midpoint for a B with subsequent grades being a standard deviation above and below the mean. If the class average is greater than 90%, then a standard 90, 80, 70, 60 curve will be used.

Homework: Homework will be assigned on a weekly basis. They are always due one week after they are assigned. Late assignments will be penalized 10% per day and NOT accepted one week after it is due.

Readings: The student is responsible for reading the sections scheduled for each lecture. The student should also go back and reread that material after listening to the lecture. To ensure that students are reading the material before attending lectures, the instructor reserves the right to give POP QUIZES!!!!!!!
