NAPCU Libraries Annual Directors Conference
Call for Proposals

As always at NAPCU, only more so this year, we’ll seek to learn not so much from outside experts as from each other. Consider this to be a call for proposals. Have you or some of your staff created new services for your library or taken existing services into a new direction? Are you contemplating change and would like some input from colleagues? Here are a few ideas –

• Library instruction/English composition collaboration
• Discovery layers – how well are they really working?
• New directions for Special Collections and Archives
• Navigating the e-journals/print journals jungle
• Significant e-book initiatives (especially any involving circulation of e-book readers)
• Experiences with institutional repositories

If you have an idea for a presentation, contact Hans Bynagle and Eileen Bell-Garrison by September 19. If you would like to bring a member of your staff as a presenter or co-presenter, please include that in your proposal. NAPCU will be able to pay travel expenses and offer a small honorarium for several staff presenters.
