The McCarthey Athletic Center
With six large concession stands and six more portable units offering a huge variety of menu items, all 6000 loyal ZAG fans are sure to find something to satisfy their taste buds while visiting The Kennel.
Hand-carved sandwiches are the number one fan favorite. Hungry Zag fans can choose between turkey or beef carved right before their eyes and placed on a fresh ciabbatta bun. Topping choices include basil mayonnaise, pub mustard, horsey sauce, freshly sliced tomatoes, crisp lettuce, sliced onions, and pickles.
Other specialty favorites include:
- Gourmet nachos piled high with your choice of carne asada or grilled chicken and toppings
- Asian stir fry with grilled chicken and vegetables sauteed to
order
- Dippin' Dots ice cream of the future
- Ben & Jerry's ice cream with fresh waffle cones made on
site
- And many other local specialties like Thomas Hammer coffee and American West kettle corn.

MAP to learn more about what is available at the McCarthey Athletic
Center.
Concessions are organized by Sports & Leisure staff who then
select non-profit groups to run the concession stands during events.
These non-profit groups are generally high school sport teams and
organizations or church youth groups who receive a percentage of
the sales to help support their cause. All spots are currently filled,
but if you are interested in having your name added to the waiting
list, please email Jason Aupied at jason.aupied@sodexo.com
or call him at 509.313.6905.
